This is a top class Prosecco from the heart of Valdobiadene (Veneto's most famous and prestigious Prosecco producing area).
The Valdobiadenne Prosecco Superiore DOCG appellation was created in 2009 and symbolizes the birthplace of Prosecco.
The vineyards are in the village of San Pietro di Barbosa (the designation "Rive" means that these are the best vineyards in the specific municipality (in this case San Pietro di Barbosa) and all the grapes come from there).
The DOCG designation on the label means that the grapes must come from the area between Valdobiadene and Conegliano, which is typical for its limestone-rich soils, which are the key to the incredible quality of the wines from this area.
The variety from which prosecco is made is called glera (the new name) or prosecco (this is the old name of the variety).
The wine is Brut, which means it contains 10 g of residual sugar/liter. It has a brilliant color with yellow undertones. The aroma reveals an elegant fruit bouquet.
The wine is the winner of many international awards, including 2 glasses of Gambero Rosso.
