This is straightforward, charming prosecco rosé that has a bit more body than the traditional white version that is loved the world over.
Prosecco in the rosé version is a recent invention, where the color comes from the pinot noir grape, which has proven to be a happy marriage with the traditional glera grape.
Prosecco is produced in an area north and northwest of Venice, in a beautiful landscape on the Po plain, before rolling hills turn into mountains.
This prosecco is made using the charmat method, and via state-of-the-art vinification facilities, fresh, crisp fruit and gentle, user-friendly bubbles are ensured. The base wines for the wine are first vinified with each grape separately, then blended, and then the bubbles are conceived in a pressure tank, where it has spent a few months.
Villa Loren Prosecco is a fruity and charming wine that has its merits when it doesn’t have to be crushingly dry, formal and expensive. In this prosecco you find a rounded, fruity profile in a taste style that is on the semi-dry end. Aroma and taste mainly have elements of red apples, red summer berries with the right amount of refreshing bubbles.
